Newly elected MP, Lorely Burt is urging vulnerable householders in Solihull to apply for the Warm Front scheme to keep their homes warm and healthy and save money on fuel bills.
"I am please that one of my first jobs as the new MP for Solihull is to encourage local residents to take advantage of this scheme. Far too many constituents are struggling to heat their homes, often at serious risk to their health," said Lorely Burt MP
"The Warm Front scheme, funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, has already been tremendously effective in cutting fuel poverty and ensuring that vulnerable people across Solihull lived in warmer homes last winter."
"Over 1000 households in the borough have already benefited from heating and insulation measures thanks to Warm Front. I would urge anyone who has been hesitant or think they may be able to benefit to apply", added Mrs Burt.
Anyone who would like to apply for the Warm Front scheme can speak to an adviser on 0800 316 6014.
