Lorely Burt MP has kept her election promise to introduce her Bill in Parliament.

Lorely Burt MP has kept her election promise to introduce her Bill in Parliament.

Lorely Burt MP is receiving a massive response from Solihull constituents to her 'Lorely's Law' petition in her first biannual report.

Mrs Burt's first Bill, nicknamed 'Lorely's Law', seeks to prevent Councils from selling off parkland and change planning regulations to curb the windfall development of green spaces. The Bill gets its second reading on 4th March.

Lorely says "I have sent my petition to every household in Solihull and would like to thank everyone who has already pledged their support".

If you would like to sign Lorely's petition, you still have time - just fill in the form on the yellow slip enclosed in your individual letter from Lorely and send it to Lorely Burt MP, Freepost LON 17707, Solihull, B91 3BR.

Lorely added, "I very much hope MPs from all sides of the House will support this Bill. I am particularly keen that the Bill should achieve all party support".

If you are a resident of the Solihull constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
