Solihull Member of Parliament asks "Can you help a good cause?"

December 21, 2005 12:00 PM

Solihull Member of Parliament is asking local companies and residents "Can you help a good cause?"

"Several companies have asked me if I know of anyone out there who would like to help" explains Lorely Burt, Member of Parliament for Solihull. "Offers I've had are for building projects and volunteers to help brighten up our community and the lives of local residents".

So I'm asking you - have you a local community project which could benefit from a little cash or some voluntary help? If you've asking for help, or offering it, please visit http://www.lorelyburt.org.uk/forums/5/22.html or e-mail burtl@parliament.uk. You can also write to my local office at 41 Warwick Road, Solihull, B92 7HS.

It's nice to think that people are giving real help out of the kindness of their hearts all year round, not just at Christmas.

Have a very Happy Christmas, and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.

If you are a resident of the Solihull constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
