Solihull's MP, Lorely Burt has praised the work of the local police Neighbourhood Team for Kineton Green, following their latest report.
Lorely Burt said:
"It makes such a difference with dedicated police officers looking after a patch and working in close contact with other community safety partners both in Solihull and Birmingham.
"The officers, led by Police Sergeant Alan Green have been able to reduce crime, tackle anti-social behaviour, underage drinking, the supply of alcohol to under 18s and problems with speeding traffic in the area by working closely with the community to identify those issues that need to be tackled locally.
"The work of the team has led to a number of arrests and fines, including one man who was wanted for recall to prison. Dedicated neighbourhood policing teams give the very best opportunity to reduce crime at all levels within the community and to make people feel safer and more secure at home and around their local park or shopping centre."
