Solihull's MP, Lorely Burt dropped in at Oak Cottage Primary School in Olton today to present a certificate to the winner of her Christmas card design competition for infant pupils in Solihull schools.
The winning design was submitted by five-year old Bryone Hammerton, who received her winners certificate and a print of her own Christmas card design from Mrs Burt.
"I was thrilled with the response and want to thank all the children from across the borough for taking part. There were some lovely designs which made it very difficult to choose a winner. Many of the entries will be on display at Solihull Library in the lead up to Christmas," said Lorely Burt MP
Bryone's design will be used for Mrs Burt's Christmas cards and delivered by volunteers to homes across the Solihull constituency.
Production costs have been supported by local businesses and Solihull and Meriden Liberal Democrats.
