Lorely launches The Prostate Cancer Charity run

Lorely Burt MP, attended the St Patrick's Day Celebrations in Birmingham on Sunday to help launch a charity tractor run from Land's End to John O'Groats in aid of The Prostate Cancer charity.

Solihull borough resident, Patrick McGeever will join Michael Clancy, Geoff Lamb, Ian Snape and Ross King who will take three weeks to drive the distance in four vintage tractors, starting on 26th April.

Lorely Burt MP, pictured with Patrick (right) and Michael at the start of the St Patrick's Day Parade said:

"I was delighted to be able to help launch this charity run. It's not often you get the chance of a ride on a tractor in the middle of Birmingham!

"This is just the latest in a series of charity fund raising efforts spearheaded by Patrick and his friends, who are doing a fantastic job raising money for The Prostate Cancer Charity. I wish all four drivers good luck for their arduous journey - they will need some good cushions!

"Anyone who wants to sponsor the run should contact Patrick McGeever on 07870 593983."
