Lorely 'walks the walk' with Yew Tree J & I pupils and parents

Solihull's MP, Lorely Burt this morning joined around 70 pupils with parents and teachers from Yew Tree J & I School on a mass walk to school to mark the beginning of this year's Walk to School Week (running from 19-23 May).

The week is set to be the biggest yet, with over two million pupils around the UK expected to take part.

Lorely said:

"I was delighted to join pupils from Yew Tree on their way in to school this morning. The event is a great opportunity for individual schools to get pupils and their families to think about walking the journey to school, building up active habits for a healthy life."

If you are a resident of the Solihull constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
