PARENTS' DELIGHT AT NEW SLIDE IN JUBILEE PARK

Lyndon parents, Clare and Karl Chetwynd were "over the moon" when a new infants slide appeared in Jubilee Park just weeks after they contacted Solihull's MP, Lorely Burt for help.

Mrs Burt wrote to Solihull Council and said she was delighted that they have been able to provide a slide for smaller children in the playground so quickly.

The slide has already proved a hit for two-year-old Thomas Chetwynd with dad, Karl and Lorely looking on.

"We know how much Lorely does for the community so we thought we would contact her to see if she could help get us a new slide for the park. We were over the moon when one appeared after just a few weeks," said Karl.
