LIB DEM LEADER VISITS SOLIHULL

Nick Clegg at Land RoverLiberal Democrat Leader. Nick Clegg visited Land Rover, Solihull Pensioners Convention and Solihull 6th Form College last week before speaking as guest of honour at the annal dinner for Solihull and Meriden Liberal Democrats.

Mr Clegg was accompanied by Solihull's MP, Lorely Burt and had talks with David Smith, Chief Executive of Land Rover before joining a pensioners protest and taking part in a discussion with students in a packed lecture theatre.

"I was delighted to accompany Nick to speak about prospects for Land Rover. which is so important for the future prosperity not only of Solihull, but also the region.

"Nick was well received by pensioners and students alike and showed that he can really connect with people of all ages."
