Members of parliament from all parties have commended the community efforts of land rover owners in helping others during the recent severe weather conditions.
An early day motion, tabled by local MP Lorely Burt has attracted many signatures from across all parties, praised volunteers across the UK, as well as British innovation at Jaguar Land Rover, for the important role they both played during the recent bout of cold weather throughout the country.
Lorely said:
"During the worst winter weather in decades, volunteers from all across the country came together to ensure that supplies such as food and medicine were delivered, and that people in vital services were able to make it into work.
"I felt that there was a need to commend those who were so quick to rise to the occasion and offer their services to the community."
