Visually impaired people in Solihull can now expect a first class service from Lorely Burt MP after she attended an afternoon of visual awareness training for MPs arranged by national disability charities Action for Blind People and Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB).
Colin Brown, Senior Visual Awareness Trainer from Action for Blind People, who is himself visually impaired said "It is encouraging to see that Lorely has shown an interest about issues that relate to visually impaired people. Many will visit their MP for help and advice on a range of issues, and we hope the training we have offered will ensure she is confident on how to meet their needs."
