Home-based childminding from the Solihull Childminding Group meet at the LAYCA centre every Monday, but this week laid on a bouncy castle as a special treat for the children in their care.

Lorely Burt MP also dropped in to speak to some of the borough's childminders and listened to a story time session for the children.

"Solihull's childminders do a marvellous job and there is clearly a very close and beneficial relationship between children, carers and parents. There was a tremendous atmosphere and the children thoroughly enjoyed their day," said Lorely.
