SOLIHULL MP HAILS COMPLETION OF LAND ROVER/JAGUAR ACQUISITION

Lorely Burt MP hailed the official acquisition of Land Rover and Jaguar by Tata yesterday as an "historic day" for the future of the Solihull based Land Rover company.

Lorely Burt MP said:

"The level of cooperation between both companies over the deal has been outstanding, providing the strongest prospects for a bright future for both Land Rover and Jaguar.

"This is a win-win for all concerned and I am delighted that the workforce can now look forward to their summer holidays with real confidence that Land Rover will continue to be world leaders in their market."
