MP MAKES A DATE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR BARNARDO'S

Lorely and Saajid Sandhu volunteer at Barnardo's

Solihull's MP. Lorely Burt joined volunteers in Barnardo's charity shop on the Stratford Road in Shirley last week to support CSV's Make a Difference campaign.

Lorely joined regular volunteers and Saajid Sandhu, who is volunteering for Barnardo's as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award.

Lorely said:

"Barnardo's is looking for volunteers to make a difference to the lives of the most disadvantaged children in the UK. If you've got time and want to help with Barnardo's or any other volunteer group locally, just call in and offer your services. Alternatively, you can go to www.csv.org.uk to find the nearest participating charity to your home. Why not give it a try and make a real difference."
