RAISING THE FLAG IN SOLIHULL TO MARK ARMED FORCES WEEK4.32.11pm BST (GMT +0100) Mon 22nd Jun 2009
Solihull's MP, Lorely Burt joined the Mayor of Solihull, veterans and members of Solihull Royal British Legion at their Union Road Headquarters, raising the Armed Forces Day flag at precisely 10.30am on Monday to mark the start of Armed Forces Week. The flag will be flown from the Council House later in the week before being raised at St Alphege Church during Civic Sunday.
